About
The deeds of this trust require that preference is given to applicants whose normal residence is in Middleton or those applicants who have attended a school in Middleton.
Who can apply?
Applicants must fulfil the following criteria:
- Be under the age of 30 on 1 September within the year you are applying.
- Have permanent residence within the Borough of Rochdale.
- Have successfully completed a first degree at any University, College or other place of further education approved by the trustees and be undertaking a post graduate, research or a similar course in the UK or abroad.
What is the fund for?
If successful, a contribution towards the following will be rewarded:
- Course fees.
- Travel expenses in pursuance of studies in the UK or abroad.
- Books and equipment required for the course.
- Any other expenses incurred in the persuance of studies to be undertaken.
Repeat applications, first or undergraduate degree courses and living expenses will not be funded.
