We are here for you, your family and your community, we work hard to stay relevant to meet your needs.
We believe people matter and provide a platform on which they can be an active part in their community. We strive to develop projects that have long lasting benefits and work in partnership with many agencies.
Sessions run within the centre 7 days a week, all year round. Please see our website for further details.
We have staff on hand to offer impartial advice, information, guidance, signposting and support.
We have lots going on all year round and plenty of opportunities to get involved, with the aim of being more empowered, socially engaged and active.
This is a free and confidential service to support Middleton families in financial difficulties.
What is the service about?
Anyone in financial difficulties and unable to purchase gifts for a child's birthday can come and get a maximum of 3 brand new toys and a reading book (all age appropriate).
What ages does it cater for?
Currently we can cater from 0 to 14 years old.
How can you access this service?
Come into Burnside and fill out a simple request form. We do ask for 24 hour’s notice if possible and the gifts will be ready to collect the very next day. We are closed over the weekends so please keep this in mind.
All toys are sealed and brand new.
Due to health and safety, unfortunately we cannot accept second hand/used toys.
For more information please come into the Burnside Centre and ask for a member of staff, who will be happy to help. You can also contact us via facebook messenger, email firstname.lastname@example.org or give us a call.
Our choir is open to all. It is a great feel good session to support people to be more socially engaged and active within the local community.
