About

MERU design and manufacture unique, assistive products for disabled people.

As a charity we are able to produce one offs or small batches of products which wouldn’t normally be commercially viable. In this way we are able to help people who may have very specific or complex needs.

What we do

Our products are designed and manufactured by our design engineers in our Epsom workshops, with the help of our dedicated volunteers.  We work with families, individuals, health and social care professionals and other organisations to ensure that our products are designed for purpose.

Bugzi Loan Scheme

We also offer a Bugzi Loan Scheme (external link) which is a powered indoor wheelchair available to loan for free across the United Kingdom. Our Bugzi Loan Scheme enables families and clinicians to access Bugzi at a time in a child’s life when they can most benefit from the discovery, experience and learning that independent mobility brings.
