Music group for parents of pre-school deaf children
About
These sessions are led by a qualified teacher of the deaf and specialist teaching assistants, and run term-time only for pre-school deaf children within the ages 0-4 years and their parents/carers. The sessions aim to develop attention, listening skills and communication through song, rhyme, play and books and allows parents the opportunity to talk to other parents of deaf pre-school children. The specialist speech and language therapist is also invited annually to share information and ideas to support language development.
