About

Rochdale Health Alliance (RHA) was established by GP practices from across the Rochdale Borough, to streamline the way in which services are delivered and to contribute to the development of the wider health and social care provision across the Borough.

What we do

Keeping their own identity and independence, GP practices will work together and support community and hospital services, including the public and voluntary sector, to ensure healthcare is coordinated for the residents of the Rochdale borough.

Each of the four localities which include Rochdale, Heywood, Middleton and the Pennines elected GPs to represent their locality and become directors on the Board.

The board is supported by a management team who ensure the day to day functioning of the organisation.

Homeless Alliance Response Team (HART)

Homeless Alliance Response Team (HART) is an Outreach service for the homeless and transient population of Rochdale, Heywood and Middleton. The service is provided by a team of clinical and non-clinical volunteers providing face to face services liaising with and connecting to existing wider service provision and encouraging registration with GP practices.

We also offer immunisations and signposting to other partner services like Housing and benefits, podiatry and mental health and more.

Where is your service?

The HART Outreach Service consists of a registered nurse and two Health Care Support Workers who travel around the borough visiting people experiencing homelessness. Locations of clinics will be updated on our website and social media pages as they are arranged.
