Manchester Buddhist Centre

About

Manchester Buddhist Centre is bringing an ancient tradition alive in the modern world as part of the Triratna Buddhist Community (formerly Friends of the Western Buddhist Order).

What we do

We have taught meditation and Buddhism to thousands of people from Greater Manchester and beyond. We are well known for our friendly and informal style of teaching, exploring what Buddhism can teach us in the modern west. The centre also houses Bodywise, Breathworks and Earth Cafe, providing services that feed body and mind.

Accessibility

We are committed to complete accessibility for disabled people by making the main entrance wheelchair-accessible.

If you are attending a course or event, please email us with any medical needs you think we should be aware of, to make your experience as enjoyable as we can. We are used to helping people with difficulties or disabilities to find a meditation posture that works for them, whether on cushions, mats or chairs.
