Boomerang - Sensory Playcentre
About
Boomerang was founded in November 2007. It started by a group of parents and carers of children who had special needs in the Bury area. Finding places to take children who have different learning problems. Due to their needs, it was hard for them to play.
The usual places such as Wacky Warehouse, Bowling and other play centres were not always right for them. This was due to lack of wheelchair access, noise and many other problems. A lot of these special people find busy, noisy, fun places overwhelming. They are often upset by the kind of things that more able children love.
