We have a mega programme of activities for children, young people and families across Link4Life and the borough of Rochdale this summer, all with one thing in mind; keeping children active, creative, social and most importantly having fun.

We have so much on offer for your child's birthday party, all parties include invitations, a birthday card, confirmation letter and a complimentary swim voucher for the birthday child.

Healthy families

Are you are looking to improve your families overall health and wellbeing or want your family to become more active? Then the Energy Club is here to give you advice, support and guide you into a healthier lifestyle.

Energy Club is a fun, educational and active course for the whole family to promote a healthy lifestyle.

The course is free and available to families with children aged 5-12 years old.

Park Lives

Now the weather is starting to get warmer, why not spend some more time outdoors and make use of your local parks? Try sports such as tennis, football and basketball all for free with the new Park Lives initiative.

Elmpenny's Museum

This is a multi-sensory and interactive theatre for early years children and their families. Elmpenny (a puppet) owns a museum but has lost three of his objects. Led by the museum's treasure hunters, join us on a multi-sensory adventure to find objects.

This takes place on Saturday 28 July, 11am-2pm.

Tennis holiday camps

Is your child interested in tennis? Could they be the next Murray or Konta? Come and take part in our summer tennis camps. Run by a level 2 tennis coach, they will learn new skills and take part in fun tournaments.

Is your child feeling worried, angry or upset? Struggling to cope, stressed about school or exams? Experiencing bullying or relationship worries or are they just feeling a bit low and not enjoying things?

Getting the right support as soon as possible can help you to feel better, enjoy life and achieve the things you want to.

#Thrive is for children and young people aged up to 19 years who are experiencing emotional health and wellbeing issues. We have lots of different types of support to help you with any emotional health and wellbeing issues your having.

Go4It Summer Fun

Summer fun has lots of different activities for children and they are split in to four different age groups, under 5s, 5-7, 8-12 and 13+

Our guide contains all of the activities across each Link4Life venue plus a few extras happening around Rochdale.

A copy of this guide is printed for every single school child in the borough and will be sent home with them from their school. You can also access this guide in the "Related Links" section.

Go4It Holiday Clubs

We understand that finding childcare in the school holidays can not only be a struggle but also very expensive, that's why we have created Go4It holiday clubs.

Designed as a low cost alternative to childcare, our fantastic sports coaches will keep your child active, creative, social and most importantly keep them having fun.

The holidays clubs are for children aged 8-12 years old.

Each holiday club drop off time is 8.45am and pick up at 5pm.

Hollingworth Lake Country Park and Water Activity Centre

Go and try out one of the many activities available, including our brand new steam boats and pedalos in this glorious weather. Take a stroll around the lake, hop on a boat and finish your day with a nice bit of fish and chips and an ice-cream. There is lots to do for the whole family.

BYCS and Sunsport

Because You Can in Sport (BYCS) is a fantastic session run by fully qualified sports coaches. The sessions, taking place on Mondays and Thursdays of the summer holidays, are inclusive meaning that they are aimed at any child regardless of ability.

This summer is as jam packed as ever with activities such as Taekwando, flower arranging, horse riding and so much more.

Tuesday Wednesday and Friday of each week will see the return of our fantastic disability programme, Sunsport. Designed to provide exciting and accessible activities for children and young people aged 8-19 featuring activites such as go-karting, raft building and trampolining.

Treasure Island

Pirates are coming to Rochdale.

Join Rochdale Town Hall for a tale of song, dance and laughter that the whole family will enjoy.

Rochdale Short breaks

A short break gives a child or young person with a disability the opportunity to spend time away from their family taking part in leisure activities or simply relaxing. Families in turn get a break from their caring responsibilities.

They can be as brief as a couple of hours or as long as a few days or even a week, depending on the needs and preferences of the child and their family.
