Heywood, Middleton and Rochdale Children’s Diabetes Specialist
About
We provide care and support for children, aged from birth to 19 years, who have diabetes. We also support families and carers. We are part of the children's acute and ongoing needs service (CAONS).
What we do
We provide education and information about diabetes to allow children and young people to lead full, healthy and active lives and reduce the risk of their condition becoming worse.
We provide care in the community, such as in a clinic or health centre, or in the home.
We try to be as flexible as possible to meet the child's and family's needs. We can talk to you about this.
