About
Family Hubs provide a range of support services for families with children aged 0-19 or 0-25 for children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).
We help you and your family through a range of different support and also provide the opportunity for you to attend groups and courses at the centre. We are linked to other local services such as the Family Information Service, health, adult care, SEND teams and Job Centre Plus. You can access help from professionals including midwives, health visitors and the family learning team.
Monday
No sessions 1st April
Play and learn 9.30am – 11.30am
Join us for a fun session aimed at younger children to develop their speech, language and support communication skills. Suitable for children aged 0-5 years.
Bump and baby 2pm – 4pm
3 week course. Antenatal session for parents to be from 16 weeks pregnant. This programme aims to build the relationship between parent and their unborn babies.

Tuesday
Messy play 9.30am – 11.30am
A fun sensory session allowing your child to explore with jelly, spaghetti, paints, beans, oats and much more. Suitable for children aged 0 – 5 years.
Breastfeeding social group 9.30am – 11.30am
If you are pregnant and interested in breastfeeding or you need answers to breastfeeding questions or just want to meet other breastfeeding mums, come along to one of the breastfeeding social drop in sessions.
Parent and child interaction (date and time confirmed on invite)
Are you concerned about your child’s development? These sessions are aimed at supporting children’s learning and development.

Wednesday
Wellcomm assessments
If you have concerns about your child’s speech and communication development please contact Belfield Family Hub on 01706 356634 to arrange an appointment.
Thursday
Boogie beats 9.30am – 11am
Join us for a fun song and dance session. Suitable for children aged 18 months – 5 years.
Come along to make an Easter Bonnet on Thursday 4th April.
Friday
Antenatal/postnatal clinics 9am – 3.45pm
To book an appointment with a midwife see Badger Notes self-refer your pregnancy to NCA.
Healthy little eaters 10.30am – 11.30am
Come along and let your child enjoy some healthy cooking and eating. Suitable for children aged 12 months plus.

Sensory seekers 1pm – 2pm
A play and learn session, suitable for children with sensory needs. Offering a calm, soothing, low stimulation environment where parents and carers can share experiences and support. Suitable for children aged 0-5 years.
