We are here to help people communicate and experience the world for everyone living with complex disabilities and for everyone who is deafblind.
We offer personalised and flexible services that are built around the specific needs of each individual. That means we support people in their home and in the community, in their education and transition to adulthood, and through our holidays, arts, sports and wellbeing programmes.
We also offer practical support to families, including information, advice, short breaks and family events.
Build your confidence and independence, learn new skills, have fun and make new friends.
Vision England is an exciting residential programme for young people with vision impairment, in partnership with the Field Studies Council (FSC). Young people are supported to play a leading role in changing their communities and the environment for the better.
Reasons to sign up:
- Fun-filled residentials.
- Supported by an amazing team of staff experienced in working with young people with vision impairment.
- You shape the activities you do, which may include conservation activities like coppicing and tree planting, and other activities like wildlife walks, bush craft, hiking and camping.
- Opportunity to gain a John Muir Award certificate (environmental award scheme).
Unfortunately, due to COVID-19, we have made the very difficult decision to cancel the Vision England programme in 2020. We are making plans for the future and will share these as soon as we’re able to.
If you're aged between 11-24, have a visual impairment and would like to find out more information about future residentials, please complete an expression of interest form.
If you have any questions, please email us on email@example.com.
