Woodland Community Primary School

About

Through quality first teaching, an exciting curriculum and its meaningful relationships and engagement with families and the community, Woodland Community Primary School aims to equip all with the skills needed to exist within our increasingly diverse world.

About the school

Within school, pupils are actively encouraged to make choices, knowing they are in a safe and supportive environment. As a school we educate and provide boundaries for young pupils to make choices safely, through a provision of a safe environment and empowering education.

Part of our school ethos and behaviour policy has revolved around core values such as respect, and pupils have been part of discussions and assemblies related to what this means and how it is shown. This is reiterated through our classroom and learning rules, as well as our behaviour policy, and definitely through the relationships they see modelled between adults within our school family.
