The Hygiene Bank

About

The Hygiene Bank is a charity powered by the belief that feeling clean is not a luxury. Our network of volunteers work with community partners, such as foodbanks, refuges, shelters and schools to give access to those of us who need essential hygiene, personal grooming and household cleaning products. 

How it works
  • People donate new and unused hygiene, personal grooming and household cleaning items to our drop off locations.
  • Volunteers at your local hygiene bank collect and sort the donations.
  • Products are packaged according to the differing needs of each community partner.
  • Volunteers deliver the products to local community partners.
  • The community partner distributes the products to the families and individuals they work with.

What donations do we need?

Our community partners are desperately in need of the following items:

  • Toilet paper
  • Toothbrushes/toothpaste
  • Period products
  • Soap
  • Nappies
