Heywood Food Bank - St Vincent de Paul (SVP) Society
About

Heywood Foodbank is run by a group of volunteers and supported by the Heywood SVP society. The Foodbank hands out food parcels to those who need the help.
How it works
To sign up to use the food bank, you will need to register at the premises and be able to give us a few basic details to describe your situation to show how much food you need and what other support you may want.
We shall do our best to match your needs but have limited resources and rely primarily on donations. We aim to give short term support in a crisis and help people get back on track.
For people wishing to help the foodbank, food can be donated to the food bank by either taking it directly to the food bank or the local church. Food donation baskets can also be found at Morrison’s.
Call in and have a chat with one of the volunteers who can offer additional help and advice. The food bank gets very little funding and mostly relies on donations from local businesses and individuals.
