Duke of Edinburgh's Award

Rochdale Youth Service is the Licensed Operating Authority for the Duke of Edinburgh's (DofE) Award in Rochdale Borough and offers young people aged 14 to 25 year olds the opportunity to complete their award at Bronze, Silver and Gold levels.
What we do
The DofE Award requires commitment, persistence and hard work but in return young people can expect an exciting adventure, working with like minded others, fun and a valued qualification. They will also learn new skills and get to visit other parts of the country.
The DofE experience is great for building confidence and will give young people a fresh perspective and new outlook on the world around them.
DofE is very much valued by colleges, universities and employers.
In Rochdale young people can access DofE via their school, some Scouts and guides groups or through the Youth Service. The Youth Service deliver open award sessions. The Youth Service is a good place to start your enquiries.
